commit690eb7dec7upstream. On some Logitech mice, such as the G903, and possibly the G403, the HID events are generated on a different interface to the HID++ one. If we enable hi-res through the HID++ interface, the HID interface wouldn't know anything about it, and handle the events as if they were regular scroll events, making the mouse unusable. Disable hi-res scrolling on those devices until we implement scroll events through HID++. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
