[ Upstream commit673c7aa243] Prior to this patch optee_open_session() was making assumptions about the internal format of uuid_t by casting a memory location in a parameter struct to uuid_t *. Fix this using export_uuid() to get a well defined binary representation and also add an octets field in struct optee_msg_param in order to avoid casting. Fixes:c5b4312bea("tee: optee: Add support for session login client UUID generation") Suggested-by: Andy Shevchenko <andriy.shevchenko@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Jens Wiklander <jens.wiklander@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Sasha Levin <sashal@kernel.org>
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
