commit 8a50da849151e7e12b43c1d8fe7ad302223aef6b upstream. The funciton tcpm_acc_attach is not setting the proper state when calling tcpm_set_role. The function tcpm_set_role is currently only handling TYPEC_STATE_USB. For the tcpm_acc_attach to switch into other modal states tcpm_set_role needs to be extended by an extra state parameter. This patch is handling the proper state change when calling tcpm_acc_attach. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
