In preparation to enabling -Wimplicit-fallthrough, mark switch cases where we are expecting to fall through. This patch fixes the following warning: drivers/watchdog/w83877f_wdt.c: In function ‘fop_ioctl’: drivers/watchdog/w83877f_wdt.c:294:3: warning: this statement may fall through [-Wimplicit-fallthrough=] wdt_keepalive(); ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ drivers/watchdog/w83877f_wdt.c:297:2: note: here case WDIOC_GETTIMEOUT: ^~~~ Warning level 3 was used: -Wimplicit-fallthrough=3 Notice that, in this particular case, the code comment is modified in accordance with what GCC is expecting to find. This patch is part of the ongoing efforts to enable -Wimplicit-fallthrough. Signed-off-by: Gustavo A. R. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
