We tried to revert commitd9c52fd17c("ath9k: fix tx99 with monitor mode interface") but accidentally missed part of the locking change. The lock has to be held earlier so that we're holding it when we do "sc->tx99_vif = vif;" and also there in the current code there is a stray unlock before we have taken the lock. Fixes:6df0580be8("ath9k: add back support for using active monitor interfaces for tx99") Signed-off-by: Dan Carpenter <dan.carpenter@oracle.com> Signed-off-by: Kalle Valo <kvalo@codeaurora.org>
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
