To allocate its fwnode that is then used to allocate an irqdomain, the driver uses irq_domain_alloc_fwnode(), passing it a VA as an identifier. This is a rather bad idea, as this address ends up published in debugfs (and we want to move away from VAs there anyway). Instead, let's allocate a named fwnode by using the device GUID as an identifier. It is allegedly unique, and can be traced back to the original device. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
