This seems like a dead artifact since TIF_IA32 is not even defined as a TI flag for UM. Looking back in git history, it made sense in the old days, but it is apparently not used since UM was split out of the x86 arch/. It is also going away from the x86 tree soon. Also, I think the variable clean up it performs is not needed as 64-bit UML doesn't run 32-bit binaries as far as I can tell, and 32-bit UML has 32-bit ulong. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
