commit 60b45ece41c5632a3a3274115a401cb244180646 upstream. The ub913 and ub953 drivers call fwnode_handle_put(priv->sd.fwnode) as part of their remove process, and if the driver is removed multiple times, eventually leads to put "overflow", possibly causing memory corruption or crash. The fwnode_handle_put() is a leftover from commit905f88cceb("media: i2c: ds90ub9x3: Fix sub-device matching"), which changed the code related to the sd.fwnode, but missed removing these fwnode_handle_put() calls. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
