[ Upstream commit8b997b2bb2] As 'kdata.num' is user-controlled data, if user tries to allocate memory larger than(>=) MAX_ORDER, then kcalloc() will fail, it creates a stack trace and messes up dmesg with a warning. Call trace: -> privcmd_ioctl --> privcmd_ioctl_mmap_resource Add __GFP_NOWARN in order to avoid too large allocation warning. This is detected by static analysis using smatch. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
