[ Upstream commit cd2fd6eab480dfc247b737cf7a3d6b009c4d0f1c ] Not all devices have an ACPI companion fwnode, so adev might be NULL. This can e.g. (theoretically) happen when a user manually binds one of the int3472 drivers to another i2c/platform device through sysfs. Add a check for adev not being set and return -ENODEV in that case to avoid a possible NULL pointer deref in skl_int3472_get_acpi_buffer(). be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
