When a system has two PCA953x GPIO expanders, the kernel complains with: gpio gpiochip2: (0-0021): detected irqchip that is shared with multiple gpiochips: please fix the driver. Indeed, there is a single instance of "struct irq_chip" that gets re-used for both PCA953x instance. This commit moves the "struct irq_chip" to be part of the "struct pca953x_chip", so that we have one "struct irq_chip" per PCA953X instance. As part of this, the name of the irq_chip is also made different on a per-instance basis, now using the dev_name() of the I2C device. This changes what is visible in /proc/interrupts. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
