According to the errata sheets for ksz9477 and ksz9567, writes to the PHY registers 0x10-0x1f (i.e. those located at addresses 0xN120 to 0xN13f) must be done as a 32 bit write to the 4-byte aligned address containing the register, hence requires a RMW in order not to change the adjacent PHY register. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
