Some Goodix touchscreens have support for a (Goodix) active pen, add support for this. The info on how to detect when a pen is down and to detect when the stylus buttons are pressed was lifted from the out of tree Goodix driver with pen support written by Adya: https://gitlab.com/AdyaAdya/goodix-touchscreen-linux-driver/ Since there is no way to tell if pen support is present, the registering of the pen input_dev is delayed till the first pen event is detected. This has been tested on a Trekstor Surftab duo W1, a Chuwi Hi13 and a Cyberbook T116 tablet. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
