commit543e8669edupstream. Compiler leaves a 4-byte hole near the end of `dev_info`, causing amdgpu_info_ioctl() to copy uninitialized kernel stack memory to userspace when `size` is greater than 356. In 2015 we tried to fix this issue by doing `= {};` on `dev_info`, which unfortunately does not initialize that 4-byte hole. Fix it by using memset() instead. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
