[ Upstream commit619ad846fc] kvm-unit-tests' eventinj "NMI failing on IDT" test results in NMI being delivered to the host (L1) when it's running nested. The problem seems to be: svm_complete_interrupts() raises 'nmi_injected' flag but later we decide to reflect EXIT_NPF to L1. The flag remains pending and we do NMI injection upon entry so it got delivered to L1 instead of L2. It seems that VMX code solves the same issue in prepare_vmcs12(), this was introduced with code refactoring in commit5f3d579997("KVM: nVMX: Rework event injection and recovery"). be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
