Commit334872a091("x86/traps: Attempt to fixup exceptions in vDSO before signaling") added return statements which bypass calling cond_local_irq_disable(). According toca4c6a9858("x86/traps: Make interrupt enable/disable symmetric in C code"), cond_local_irq_disable() is needed because the asm return code no longer disables interrupts. Follow the existing code as an example to use "goto exit" instead of "return" statement. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
