[ Upstream commit b8291cf3d1180b5b61299922f17c9441616a805a ] This change adds support for the NC-SI 1.2 Get MC MAC Address command, specified here: https://www.dmtf.org/sites/default/files/standards/documents/DSP0222_1.2.0.pdf It serves the exact same function as the existing OEM Get MAC Address commands, so if a channel reports that it supports NC-SI 1.2, we prefer to use the standard command rather than the OEM command. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
