[ Upstream commit0f8ed99457] Building nios2:allmodconfig fails as follows (each symbol is only listed once). ERROR: "__ashldi3" [drivers/md/dm-writecache.ko] undefined! ERROR: "__ashrdi3" [fs/xfs/xfs.ko] undefined! ERROR: "__ucmpdi2" [drivers/media/i2c/adv7842.ko] undefined! ERROR: "__lshrdi3" [drivers/md/dm-zoned.ko] undefined! ERROR: "flush_icache_range" [drivers/misc/lkdtm/lkdtm.ko] undefined! ERROR: "empty_zero_page" [drivers/md/dm-mod.ko] undefined! The problem is seen with gcc 7.3.0. Export the missing symbols. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
