commitdc91c3b6feupstream. On AXP288 and newer PMICs, bit 7 of AXP20X_VBUS_IPSOUT_MGMT can be set to prevent using the VBUS input. However, when the VBUS unplugged and plugged back in, the bit automatically resets to zero. We need to set the register as volatile to prevent regmap from caching that bit. Otherwise, regcache will think the bit is already set and not write the register. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
