[ Upstream commit6b77c06655] The interrupt controller supplying the Wake-on-LAN interrupt line maybe modular on some platforms (irq-bcm7038-l1.c) and might be probed at a later time than the GENET driver. We need to specifically check for -EPROBE_DEFER and propagate that error to ensure that we eventually fetch the interrupt descriptor. Fixes:9deb48b53e("bcmgenet: add WOL IRQ check") Fixes:5b1f0e6294("net: bcmgenet: Avoid touching non-existent interrupt") Signed-off-by: Florian Fainelli <f.fainelli@gmail.com> Reviewed-by: Stefan Wahren <stefan.wahren@i2se.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20220511031752.2245566-1-f.fainelli@gmail.com Signed-off-by: Paolo Abeni <pabeni@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Sasha Levin <sashal@kernel.org>
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
