[ Upstream commit69388e15f5] According to Braswell NDA Specification Update (#557593), concurrent read accesses may result in returning 0xffffffff and write instructions may be dropped. We have an established format for the commit references, i.e.cdca06e4e8("pinctrl: baytrail: Add missing spinlock usage in byt_gpio_irq_handler") Fixes:0bd50d719b("pinctrl: cherryview: prevent concurrent access to GPIO controllers") Signed-off-by: Grace Kao <grace.kao@intel.com> Reported-by: Brian Norris <briannorris@chromium.org> Reviewed-by: Brian Norris <briannorris@chromium.org> Acked-by: Mika Westerberg <mika.westerberg@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Andy Shevchenko <andriy.shevchenko@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Sasha Levin <sashal@kernel.org>
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
