[ Upstream commitba153552c1] pci_enable_pcie_error_reporting() enables the device to send ERR_* Messages. Sincef26e58bf6f("PCI/AER: Enable error reporting when AER is native"), the PCI core does this for all devices during enumeration. Remove the redundant pci_enable_pcie_error_reporting() call from the driver. Also remove the corresponding pci_disable_pcie_error_reporting() from the driver .remove() path. Note that this doesn't control interrupt generation by the Root Port; that is controlled by the AER Root Error Command register, which is managed by the AER service driver. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
