commit3037b174b1upstream. The SocFPGA machine since commitb3ca9888f3("reset: socfpga: add an early reset driver for SoCFPGA") uses reset controller, so it should select RESET_CONTROLLER explicitly. Selecting ARCH_HAS_RESET_CONTROLLER is not enough because it affects only default choice still allowing a non-buildable configuration: /usr/bin/arm-linux-gnueabi-ld: arch/arm/mach-socfpga/socfpga.o: in function `socfpga_init_irq': arch/arm/mach-socfpga/socfpga.c:56: undefined reference to `socfpga_reset_init' Reported-by: kernel test robot <lkp@intel.com> Cc: <stable@vger.kernel.org> Fixes:b3ca9888f3("reset: socfpga: add an early reset driver for SoCFPGA") Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <krzysztof.kozlowski@canonical.com> Signed-off-by: Dinh Nguyen <dinguyen@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
