[ Upstream commit690afc165b] Support for moving IPv4 GRE tunnels between namespaces was added in commitb57708add3("gre: add x-netns support"). The respective change for IPv6 tunnels, commit22f08069e8("ip6gre: add x-netns support") did not drop NETIF_F_NETNS_LOCAL flag so moving them from one netns to another is still denied in IPv6 case. Drop NETIF_F_NETNS_LOCAL flag from ip6gre tunnels to allow moving ip6gre tunnel endpoints between network namespaces. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
