[ Upstream commit 2a5eb9995528441447d33838727f6ec1caf08139 ] Currently the brk starts its randomization immediately after .bss, which means there is a chance that when the random offset is 0, linear overflows from .bss can reach into the brk area. Leave at least a single page gap between .bss and brk (when it has not already been explicitly relocated into the mmap range). Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
