[ Upstream commitd0381bf4f8] ACPI driver should make sure all the processor IDs in their ACPI Namespace are unique. the driver performs a depth-first walk of the namespace tree and calls the acpi_processor_ids_walk() to check the duplicate IDs. But, the acpi_processor_ids_walk() mistakes the return value. If a processor is checked, it returns true which causes the walk break immediately, and other processors will never be checked. Repace the value with AE_OK which is the standard acpi_status value. And don't abort the namespace walk even on error. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
