Avoid waking up every thread sleeping in an epoll_wait call during suspend and resume by calling a freezable blocking call. Previous patches modified the freezer to avoid sending wakeups to threads that are blocked in freezable blocking calls. This call was selected to be converted to a freezable call because it doesn't hold any locks or release any resources when interrupted that might be needed by another freezing task or a kernel driver during suspend, and is a common site where idle userspace tasks are blocked. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
