[ Upstream commit d0376aac59a166cd7bd9d1a9768e31e71002631b ] Previously, in hmat_register_target_initiators(), the performance attributes are calculated and the corresponding sysfs links and files are created too. Which is called during memory onlining. But now, to calculate the abstract distance of a memory target before memory onlining, we need to calculate the performance attributes for a memory target without creating sysfs links and files. To do that, hmat_register_target_initiators() is refactored to make it possible to calculate performance attributes separately. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
