Commit 34a3cae7474c6e6f4a85aad4a7b8191b8b35cdcd upstream. CONFIG_RETHUNK, CONFIG_CPU_UNRET_ENTRY and CONFIG_CPU_SRSO are all tangled up. De-spaghettify the code a bit. Some of the rethunk-related code has been shuffled around within the '.text..__x86.return_thunk' section, but otherwise there are no functional changes. srso_alias_untrain_ret() and srso_alias_safe_ret() ((which are very address-sensitive) haven't moved. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
