When screen brightness is rapidly changed and PSR-SU is enabled the display hangs on panels with this TCON even on the latest DCN 3.1.4 microcode (0x8002a81 at this time). This was disabled previously as commit072030b178("drm/amd: Disable PSR-SU on Parade 0803 TCON") but reverted as commit1e66a17ce5("Revert "drm/amd: Disable PSR-SU on Parade 0803 TCON"") in favor of testing for a new enough microcode (commitcd2e31a9ab("drm/amd/display: Set minimum requirement for using PSR-SU on Phoenix")). As hangs are still happening specifically with this TCON, disable PSR-SU again for it until it can be root caused. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
