commit3af3496395upstream. gcmaes_crypt_by_sg() dereferences the NULL pointer returned by scatterwalk_ffwd() when encrypting an empty plaintext and the source scatterlist ends immediately after the associated data. Fix it by only fast-forwarding to the src/dst data scatterlists if the data length is nonzero. This bug is reproduced by the "rfc4543(gcm(aes))" test vectors when run with the new AEAD test manager. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
