[ Upstream commit 592532a77b736b5153e0c2e4c74aa50af0a352ab ] longhaul_exit() was calling cpufreq_cpu_get(0) without checking for a NULL policy pointer. On some systems, this could lead to a NULL dereference and a kernel warning or panic. This patch adds a check using unlikely() and returns early if the policy is NULL. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
