[ Upstream commit0014cc04e8] Commita408e4a86b("ima: open a new file instance if no read permissions") tries to create a new file descriptor to calculate a file digest if the file has not been opened with O_RDONLY flag. However, if a new file descriptor cannot be obtained, it sets the FMODE_READ flag to file->f_flags instead of file->f_mode. This patch fixes this issue by replacing f_flags with f_mode as it was before that commit. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
