[ Upstream commitc252849082] In a moment I'm going to introduce separate nfsd_file types, one of which is garbage-collected; the other, not. The garbage-collected variety is to be used by NFSv2 and v3, and the non-garbage-collected variety is to be used by NFSv4. nfsd_commit() is invoked by both NFSv3 and NFSv4 consumers. We want nfsd_commit() to find and use the correct variety of cached nfsd_file object for the NFS version that is in use. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
