commit5c2e9f346bupstream. When filtering xattr list for reading, presence of trusted xattr results in a security audit log. However, if there is other content no errno will be set, and if there isn't, the errno will be -ENODATA and not -EPERM as is usually associated with a lack of capability. The check does not block the request to list the xattrs present. Switch to ns_capable_noaudit to reflect a more appropriate check. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
