commit632978f0a9upstream. Selftests are supposed to run on any kernels, including the old ones not supporting all MPTCP features. One of them is the support of sending an MP_PRIO signal for the initial subflow, introduced by commitc157bbe776("mptcp: allow the in kernel PM to set MPC subflow priority"). It is possible to look for "mptcp_subflow_send_ack" in kallsyms because it was needed to introduce the mentioned feature. So we can know in advance if the feature is supported instead of trying and accepting any results. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
