In order to avoid reading and dirtying two cache lines on every IRQ, move the work_struct to the bottom of the fast_pool struct. add_ interrupt_randomness() always touches .pool and .count, which are currently split, because .mix pushes everything down. Instead, move .mix to the bottom, so that .pool and .count are always in the first cache line, since .mix is only accessed when the pool is full. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
