This patch adds support for an optional "reset" GPIO pin in the cy8c95x0 pinctrl driver. On probe, the reset pin is pulled low to bring chip out of reset. The reset pin has an internal pull-down and can be left floating if not required. The datasheet doesn't mention any timing related to the reset pin. Based on empirical tests, it was found that the chip requires a delay of 250 milliseconds before accepting I2C transfers after driving the reset pin low. Therefore, a delay of 250ms is added before proceeding with I2C transfers. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
