[ Upstream commit925ea0fa52] The module param debug for n_gsm uses KERN_INFO level, but the hexdump now uses KERN_DEBUG level. This started after commit091cb0994e("lib/hexdump: make print_hex_dump_bytes() a nop on !DEBUG builds"). We now use dynamic_hex_dump() unless DEBUG is set. This causes no packets to be seen with modprobe n_gsm debug=0x1f unlike earlier. Let's fix this by adding gsm_hex_dump_bytes() that calls print_hex_dump() with KERN_INFO to match what n_gsm is doing with the other debug related output. Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
