[ Upstream commit 17ef8efc00b34918b966388b2af0993811895a8c ] As discussed in the past (commit2d3916f318("ipv6: fix skb drops in igmp6_event_query() and igmp6_event_report()")) I think the synchronize_net() call in ipv6_mc_down() is not needed. Under load, synchronize_net() can last between 200 usec and 5 ms. KASAN seems to agree as well. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
