This reverts commit963285b0b4("um: support some of ARCH_HAS_SET_MEMORY"), as it turns out that it's not only not working (due to um never using the protection bits in the page tables) but also corrupts the page tables if used on a non-vmalloc page, since um never allocates proper page tables for the 'physmem' in the first place. Fixing all this will take more effort, so for now revert it. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
