[ Upstream commita35cd6447e] When kobject_init_and_add() returns an error in the function qib_create_port_files(), the function kobject_put() is not called for the corresponding kobject, which potentially leads to memory leak. This patch fixes the issue by calling kobject_put() even if kobject_init_and_add() fails. In addition, the ppd->diagc_kobj is released along with other kobjects when the sysfs is unregistered. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
