[ Upstream commita6792a0cde] If device_register() fails, it has two issues: 1. The name allocated by dev_set_name() is leaked. 2. The parent of device is not NULL, device_unregister() is called in zynqmp_ipi_free_mboxes(), it will lead a kernel crash because of removing not added device. Call put_device() to give up the reference, so the name is freed in kobject_cleanup(). Add device registered check in zynqmp_ipi_free_mboxes() to avoid null-ptr-deref. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
