The default argument should be enum TRANSFER_FUNCTION_SRGB rather than the current boolean value which improperly maps to TRANSFER_FUNCTION_BT709. Commit9b3d76527f("drm/amd/display: Revert adding degamma coefficients") looks to have improperly reverted commitd020970959("drm/amd/display: Add regamma/degamma coefficients and set sRGB when TF is BT709") replacing the enum value with a boolean value. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
