MIGRATE_PFN_LOCKED is used to indicate to migrate_vma_prepare() that a source page was already locked during migrate_vma_collect(). If it wasn't then the a second attempt is made to lock the page. However if the first attempt failed it's unlikely a second attempt will succeed, and the retry adds complexity. So clean this up by removing the retry and MIGRATE_PFN_LOCKED flag. Destination pages are also meant to have the MIGRATE_PFN_LOCKED flag set, but nothing actually checks that. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
