commitde17cade0eupstream. nand_release() is supposed be called after MTD device registration. Here, only nand_scan() happened, so use nand_cleanup() instead. There is no real Fixes tag applying here as the use of nand_release() in this driver predates the introduction of nand_cleanup() in commitd44154f969("mtd: nand: Provide nand_cleanup() function to free NAND related resources") which makes this change possible. Hence, pointing it as the commit to fix for backporting purposes, even if this commit is not introducing any bug makes sense. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
