commitd354699e22upstream. Our HVS global state, when duplicated, will also copy the pointer to the drm_crtc_commit (and increase the reference count) for each FIFO if the pointer is not NULL. However, our atomic_setup function will overwrite that pointer without putting the reference back leading to a memory leak. Since the commit is only relevant during the atomic commit process, it doesn't make sense to duplicate the reference to the commit anyway. Let's remove it. Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
