This is a fix for several issues that were found in the original code for storage attributes migration. Now no bitmap is allocated to keep track of dirty storage attributes; the extra bits of the per-memslot bitmap that are always present anyway are now used for this purpose. The code has also been refactored a little to improve readability. Fixes:190df4a212("KVM: s390: CMMA tracking, ESSA emulation, migration mode") Fixes:4036e3874a("KVM: s390: ioctls to get and set guest storage attributes") Acked-by: Janosch Frank <frankja@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Claudio Imbrenda <imbrenda@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Message-Id: <1525106005-13931-3-git-send-email-imbrenda@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Christian Borntraeger <borntraeger@de.ibm.com>
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
