In order to further enable commit:bbe2df3f6b("x86/alternative: Try inline spectre_v2=retpoline,amd") add the new GCC flag -mindirect-branch-cs-prefix: https://gcc.gnu.org/g:2196a681d7810ad8b227bf983f38ba716620545e https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=102952 https://bugs.llvm.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52323 to RETPOLINE=y builds. This should allow fully inlining retpoline,amd for GCC builds. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
