commit6a832ec3d6upstream. Currently, if a symbol "@" is attempted to be used with an event probe (eprobes), it will cause a NULL pointer dereference crash. Both kprobes and uprobes can reference data other than the main registers. Such as immediate address, symbols and the current task name. Have eprobes do the same thing. For "comm", if "comm" is used and the event being attached to does not have the "comm" field, then make it the "$comm" that kprobes has. This is consistent to the way histograms and filters work. be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
